This original mixed media artwork uses oil, silver, copper, and paper collage with typewriter text and beeswax on linen canvas. Featuring overlapping birds to suggest the bird descending into the nest of text written with a typewriter with words about homes, mortgages, and other words related to building one's nest. The light reflecting off the metallics contrasts beautifully with the matt beeswax of the nest.
